April 7, 2009

I got up early to be at my MRI appointment at 6:30 a.m. and I was there for three hours. After my appointment, my mom and dad and I went to breakfast at Katella Deli. When we got home, we cleaned up a little and then had some visitors. They brought a huge "sunshine basket". It had a lot of small presents to be opened whenever I need a "cheer-up". I will be wanting those "cheer-ups" in the next 10 days while Kelsey is in Spain.

I have my chemo treatment tomorrow morning, then Kelsey leaves tomorrow afternoon. Please continue to pray for both of us. I love y0u and God Bless you!

  1. Your new photo looks great! Good to see such smiling faces! A sunshine basket....what a wonderful, thoughtful idea! Kudos on that one. Glad kelsey is going to Spain. This is one of those once in a lifetime opportunities and good she is going. She needs to be a kid for a while. And congratulations to Jana for encouraging her. You both have a lot of personal struggling going on. Our prayers are not only for your physical healing, but for your continued mental and emotional strength as you proceed to battle this medical challenge.

Once again, your family continues to amaze me. As I read through the blogs and comments, the sheer magnitude of loving and caring a family and friends share is beautiful. You are all truly blessed!

Hugs and prayers....Betty and the NY Gang!
