Wednesday, March 11

WELL.....I got the results of my liver biopsy today and was told that the tumors are cancerous. This means that in a couple of weeks I will begin chemotherapy, and yes, I will loose my hair, so I want you all to let me know what color hair I should look for. Red is my favorite color, but I'm too chicken to go that drastic.

I must admit I was a bit scared today before we went to the Dr. office, but now I know this is the plan for me and with all the prayers and support I have had thus far, I know I'll get through this too.

I sure would appreciate it, if you would continue to pray!

  2. Hi Jana
    "Thinking of you Always..."
A prayer for today, 'Father in heaven, today I lift my eyes to You. I know that You are the One who helps me and has given me an extraordinary future. I choose to stand in faith today knowing that You have a wonderful plan in store for me!'
(Average people have average problems. Ordinary people have ordinary challenges. But remember, you're not average. You're not ordinary. You are extraordinary. God breathed His life into you. You are exceptional, and exceptional people face exceptional difficulties. The good news is, we serve an exceptional God.)
...and for the hair color...I recommend Strawberry Blonde...
    Love,
    Sheri

  4. Our soul waits for the Lord; He is our help and our shield. For our heart shall rejoice in Him, because we have trusted in His holy name. Let your mercy, O Lord, be upon us, just as we hope in You. Psalm 33:20-22

    Praying without ceasing-
    Love, Donna & Howard

  5. Good Morning Jana,

God is good! He guides us along the path He has chosen for us. He has chosen you, because he knows your Faith and Courage in difficult times, He knows you will remain faithful to Him no matter what. He choses you to offer your sufferings for the transgressions of the world.

Jana, my prayer for you is that Our Lord, continue to be you constant companion and sustain as you walk through this valley.

    A PRAYER FOR YOU

O Almighty Lord, Jesus Christ, Son of God and Savior. The same Lord that so loves His children as to lay His life down for them.
The same Lord that rose from the dead on the third day, and Ascended into Heaven. The same Lord that spoke the word and the Centurion’s Servant was immediately healed. The same Lord that restored sight to the blind; cleansed lepers, cured the halt and lame. The same Lord that with a word rebuked the seas and they were calm.
The same Lord that raised Lazarus from the dead. The same Lord that has been given all power both in Heaven and on earth, do Thou,
the same Lord visit and heal Thy servant,
JANA from the afflictions that they are now suffering. Strengthen our faith like that of the Roman Centurion, so that we may ask for this healing with the same faith, trust, and hope that Thy servant, JANA will be healed in the same manner that the Centurion’s servant was restored to health. O Holy physician of our souls and bodies,
hear this fervent prayer for Thy servant
JANA and grant this request as we hold this,
Thy servant up before Thy glorious Throne.
We ask this in the victorious and Holy Name of our Lord, God, and Savior, Jesus Christ.

    Amen

I vote for Marilyn Monroe Blonde

  8. Jana,

I am still in shock over your recurrence and you have been in my thoughts and prayers since then. You were such a great support for me when I was going through my trials. Please know that I am here for you if you need me.

I still have the wigs you loaned me so I will dig them out this weekend and Linda Gilman will drop them by your house. If I remember correctly, they are blond, and I have a brand new reddish brown one that I will send you. They will help you maintain your fabulosity!!!

Lots of love to you from me
